My first professional guitar was a Yamaha SA2000S from 1981.  Although I have been playing a Gibson ES-335 for all my career, I have to admit, the Yamaha guitars are superb and easy on the wallet.  Check out the Yamaha SA2200 I acquired in Japan in 2022.  I got it at the Ginza Yamaha flagship store.  The guitar is from December 2021.
